It's the second time that Restaurant Bahamas is hosting its "I love KFC" Promotion. In 2014, the winner drove away in a brand new Kia Sportage. The response was overwhelming, leading to an even more lucrative prize this year. This time around, marketing Director Ash Henderson said KFC decided to "up the ante" and give away a dream vehicle.
Once a customer purchases a regular combo, combo classic, sandwich combo or large purchase, they will receive a round red sticker with the KFC logo emblazoned with the words "I love KFC" in white and a bright yellow heart.
"Once you make a qualifying purchase at KFC, place that sticker on your bag, backpack, your vehicle, lawn mower - whatever you have," said Mr. Henderson. "Once the prize patrol spots you at the right time, you can win one of hundreds of prizes."
Two hundred prizes have already been given out since the promotion began on August 24. They include KFC combo meals, Super Value Foodstore and Shell gas station vouchers, electronics, ITunes and BTC gifts cards, and more. Three lucky envelopes which indicate an entry for the grand prize have already been given out. But 300 prizes and seven more envelopes are still up for grabs.
"We go through neighborhoods, backstreets, side roads, main roads, leaving church - morning, noon, afternoon, anytime, anywhere," said Mr. Henderson. "Just have your sticker showing and be prepared in case the prize patrol spots you."
It won't be hard to miss the prize patrol. They are making their way around town in the prize car. Henderson says the customers will see just how beautiful a vehicle it is as it drives along the streets of New Providence.
Tyreflex Star Motors partnered with KFC to offer a bright red 2015 Mercedes Benz cla 200 as the grand prize. The company's sales manager, Rose Richardson says there is a growing interest in this new edition to the Mercedes family - the cla 200 You can inspect the new car along with several other Tyreflex vehicles such as the gla and c class models.
She remarked: "If you don't have a car, still buy a KFC combo and stick in on your bag - you may just be the winner of your dream car!"
The grand prize drawing is set for October 24 at the Mall at Marathon from 2-6pm. KFC mascot Chicky will be there to entertain the kids. The prize patrol visited the Mackey Street location this week. Chicky gawked at the new car and pulled out a chamois to shine it up for the passers by. Hot 91.7fm hosted a live remote at the location, with celebrity DJ Naughty.
KFC is giving away one of the most illustrious prizes ever given away in Nassau, Bahamas - a 2015 Mercedes Benz.
