On the heels of the Dunamus Soundz Music Conference held recently at the Bahamas Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture, Dunamus Soundz Music Group (DSMG) is excited to have some music news on the horizon for its cadre of artists.

The Gospel Hip Hop super group “The Dunamus Crew”, founded by the late Pastor Lavard “Manifest” Parks has been officially renamed “The Dunamus Allstars”.

The announcement comes after their 2015 Youth Alive: Emerge performance at Bahamas Faith Ministries International, where Pastor Lavard “Manifest” Parks and his wife Pastor Radel Parks, served as youth pastors.

Both, along with their young son Johannon and unborn child, died in the November. 9th, 2014 plane crash alongside BFMI pastors, Dr. Myles Munroe, his wife Ruth, Pastor Richard Pinder and three others.

“This December will mark the beginning of the 15th anniversary of Dunamus Soundz Records, and over a decade since The Dunamus Crew first came together.” said Keith Rolle, new Dunamus Soundz Records C.E.O. “We recognize the passion and the commitment that Papa Don, Mr. Beeds, WD-4D (formally known as Big Willy), Rabbi and Miff Marco have given to Dunamus, the local community and internationally alongside Manifest. The Dunamus Allstars will continue to carry on this legacy and I’m looking forward to both a greatest hits and a new full length album from them in 2016. Hip Hop artist Mr. Beeds is taking a sabbatical as he gets ready to release his sophomore album “Foreigner”. The two time Caribbean Gospel Music Marlin Awards winner (“Music Video of the Year -Solo” for “Aaa Choo” and “Hip-Hop Sung Collaboration of the Year” for “Never Knew” featuring R&B artist Sammi Star.), “We’ve all been working pretty much non stop since the November 9th crash.”, says Dunamus C.E.O. Keith Rolle. “We’re all still grieving, so that has taken an additional toll on everybody. “Foreigner” is recorded, mixed and we just completed the mastering process with a Grammy award winning producer. So now is the perfect time for Mr. Beeds to take some time, regroup, refocus then come back to share this eclectic, new classic album with the world. “Foreigner” is the second full length album from Mr. Beeds and will be released Winter 2015. Request “Get It Right”, the first single featuring Jonathan Farrington on your local radio station.

Trinidad & Tobago’s “Jay Square” releases “One Man For A Woman”, from new album “Musicianary”. The 2014 Caribbean Gospel Music Marlin Awards winner ( Reggae/Hip Hop Recording of the Year - “I Am Gospel”.) followed up his Marlin Award win with a multi island Caribbean tour earlier this year; then focused on promoting traditional marriage and reaching out to those engaged in LGBT lifestyles.

“Its amazing how heterosexual couples are promoting [sexual] independence while homosexual couples are promoting marriage.” said Jay Square. “This is a song to remind all those caught up in a LGBT lifestyle that God still loves you, but He hates the sin.”

New Dunamus C.E.O. Keith Rolle added, “Pastor Lavard “Manifest” Parks and the Dunamus roster met Jay Square at Acts 25, a television station in Trinidad back in 2005. The following year Manifest invited Jay Square to join Dunamus Soundz Records at a 2006 Youth Alive conference held at Bahamas Faith Ministries International. We honor that bond and look forward to continue work together.
