This Saturday, Domino's Pizza will celebrate the grand opening of its newest location at the RND Shopping Plaza in Freeport, Grand Bahama. The relocation of the store from Queen's Highway means expanded facilities and a better experience for the brand's customers. "We heard the feedback from within the market and responded by growing our store space. The move allows our team to operate in a more efficient work environment with the goal of improving the overall customer experience," said Renea Bastian, vice president of marketing and communications at AML Foods Ltd., Domino's franchise holder in The Bahamas.

Upgrades to the location include countertop seating and the Domino's Pizza Theatre concept. In the open kitchen design, patrons can view the pizza making process from start to finish. This feature will eventually be available in all outlets throughout the country. Customers also have the option to order online via www.dominos242.com.

"For two decades we've had a presence in Grand Bahama," Bastian continued. "The new store shows AML's commitment to growing and developing the brand on the island, even in challenging economic times. We are confident that the investment in new and improved facilities and in staff training, will prove to be beneficial."

A total of six new jobs were added with the relocation, bringing Domino's staff complement on Grand Bahama to 25. In addition to employment opportunities, Domino's will continue to support local schools and charitable organizations on the island. This weekend's grand opening activities will include special promotions, customer giveaways and face painting for kids. Customers are encouraged to follow Domino's Grand Bahama Facebook page for more details.
