Give your gifts away

In my Success Files series, one of my guests was Monsignor Preston Moss who at that time was vicar general of the Catholic Archdiocese of Nassau in The Bahamas. He talked during our interview about the vital importance of people being able to discover the special gifts that the Creator gave them at birth. As I have relayed to you my valued readers again and again over the years in these articles, God has imbued all of his children, you and me, with some unique gifts in the form of special talents.

A very important part of life is to discover these wonderful gifts, refine them and then give them away to others. That's right, once you discover your very special and unique gifts from God, your talents, and have developed and refined them, you need to realize that as Monsignor Moss pointed out quite clearly in the interview, you need to give your gifts away. Yes you do.

You mean D. Paul that I should spend all of my time using my special gifts, my talents to benefit others? Yes I do, and so does Monsignor Moss and indeed anyone else who really knows what life is all about. But what do I get out of it D. Paul? Well believe me, you'll get a whole lot for as it is written, as you sow, so shall you reap. Oh how absolutely true that is.

Yes my friend, as I have pointed out many times before, life is all about giving, about serving our brothers and sisters in God's one universal family. So this is what life is really all about. Now that you hopefully fully understand this important fact of life, once you discover your gifts, your talents, you then need to develop them to the fullest. Then don't be greedy, instead start to use your gifts to enhance the lives of others and you'll have a great life too. Believe me. In fact, I guarantee it.
