GENERAL SITUATION: High pressure ridge and an abundance of Sahara dust in the atmosphere will provide mostly benign weather over the area except for some showery activity triggered by an upper level trough in the Southeast Bahamas.

Thursday 2nd – Partly sunny, hot, humid and hazy today with a few showers and possible thunderstorms…; turning fair and mild tonight with the chance of a stray shower in the Northwest Bahamas and partly sunny and hot, yet breezy with a few showers today; becoming partly cloudy with isolated showers and thunderstorms tonight in the remainder of the islands. Maximum Temperature 91°F and Minimum Temperature 79°F. Small Craft Caution in effect for the Central & Southeast Bahamas. Wind SE-S 10-15 knots in the Northwest Bahamas and E-SE 15-20 knots in the Central & Southeast Bahamas. Seas 2 - 4 feet over the ocean in the Northwest Bahamas and 4-6 feet in the Central & Southeast Bahamas.

Friday 3rd – A mix of sun and clouds, hot and humid with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms mainly across the Northwest Bahamas; partly sunny, hot and humid elsewhere over The Bahamas. Maximum Temperature 91°F and Minimum Temperature 79°F. Small Craft Caution in effect for the Central & Southeast Bahamas. Winds E-SE 10-15 knots, falling light and variable at times in the Northwest Bahamas….E-SE 15-20 knots in the Central and Southeast Bahamas. Seas 2 - 4 feet over the ocean in the Northwest Bahamas and 4-6 feet in the Central & Southeast Bahamas.
