A church divided must seek common ground

Dear Editor,

Having family and friends in The Bahamas, I read the article in The Freeport News – A church divided (December 28 issue). The letter points out his premonition of brother-against-brother and bishop-against-bishop in the church due to various hot-button issues on which people, including Catholics and nearly all Christian denominations have differing views.
The human mind is finite and limited. The will of Almighty God is all-powerful, all-seeing, and infinite. We must place our trust in God. If we govern ourselves according to praying to the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit – our guidance will come.
