The Bahamas Pharmaceutical Association has announced its pharmacy week under the theme "A paradigm shift: Enhancing pharmaceutical care through specialized medicine".

It is the aim of the association during this week, June 7 to 13, to provide opportunities for stakeholders in the industry to network and share ideas. It is also the aim of the association to encourage pharmacists to examine opportunities that may emerge in the sector.

"By the end of our pharmacy week, it is hoped that pharmacists will be equipped with new ideas, methods, and enlightenment, which will allow their community pharmacy businesses to remain viable," said the association.

The week will end with an awards dinner on June 13 at The Balmoral Club.
