GENERAL SITUATION: A surface trough in vicinity of the Southeast Bahamas will continue to create unsettled weather across the Southeast Bahamas. Meanwhile a weak pressure pattern influences weather elsewhere.

Monday 1st – Partly sunny, hot and humid over the Northwest & Central Bahamas and partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated showers and thunderstorms across the Southeast Bahamas but mostly fair tonight across all areas with a few lingering showers in the Southeast Bahamas. Maximum Temperature 88°F and Minimum Temperature 72°F. Winds E 10-15 knots falling light and variable at times across the Northwest Bahamas. Seas 2-4 feet over the ocean.

Tuesday 2nd – Partly sunny and warm in the Northwest & Central Bahamas with increasing cloudiness and shower activity by evening, but variable cloudiness with few showers in the Southeast Bahamas. Maximum Temperature 85°F and Minimum Temperature 72°F. Winds E at 10 knots or less in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and E at 15 knots in the Southeast Bahamas. Seas 3 feet or less over the ocean in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and 3-5 feet elsewhere.

Wednesday 3rd – Cloudy to overcast with widely scattered showers and thunderstorms. Maximum Temperature 85°F and Minimum Temperature 72°F. Winds E-SE 10-15 knots, falling light & variable at times in the Northwest & Central Bahamas, but SE at 15 knots elsewhere.

Thursday 4th – Cloudy with scattered showers and possible isolated thunderstorms. Maximum Temperature 82°F and Minimum Temperature 72°F. Small Craft Caution in effect for the Southeast Bahamas, however possible Gale force conditions! Winds SE at 10 knots light and variable at times in the Northwest & Central Bahamas, but E-SE 15-20 knots in the Southeast Bahamas. Seas1-3 feet over the ocean in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and 4-6 feet over the ocean in the Southeast Bahamas.

Friday 5th – Scattered showers and possible thunderstorms. Maximum Temperature 82°F and Minimum Temperature 72°F. Winds light & variable in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and SE 15 knots in the Southeast Bahamas. Seas 1-3 feet over the ocean in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and 2-4 feet over the Southeast Bahamas.

Saturday 6th – Widely scattered showers and thunderstorms and windy. Maximum Temperature 78°F and Minimum Temperature 69°F. Small Craft Advisory in effect. Winds NE 20-25 knots at first becoming NW at 15-20 knots in the Northwest Bahamas and S-SW 20-25 knots in the Central & Southeast Bahamas. Seas 6-8 feet over the ocean.

Sunday 7th – Mostly sunny in the Northwest Bahamas but cloudy with scattered showers and possible isolated thunderstorms in the Central & Southeast Bahamas. Maximum Temperature 83°F and Minimum Temperature 72°F. Winds light and variable Seas 1-3 feet over the ocean.
