You create your reality

One of the things which it's extremely difficult to teach some individuals is contained in today's title 'You Create Your Reality'. Now the first question which we need to ask ourselves as it relates to the subject for today is this. What is 'Reality'? Well the answer to that question is quite simple, from my perspective. A person's reality is what that individual believes he or she can accomplish.

Let me give you an example.  I know a gentleman who started as a salesman for a large insurance company headquartered in The Bahamas whilst operating throughout the entire Caribbean region. When he started as an agent selling insurance policies, he stated quite clearly to everyone who knew him, that he intended to become President of the company one day. That was his reality, it's what he believed he would eventually achieve.

Now of course, when he revealed his goal to eventually become President of the company to his friends and colleagues, many laughed at him saying that he was delusional....it would never happen....that was their 'Reality'. However, eventually this young agent did gradually progress up through the ranks of the company and did indeed become President. See what I mean, your 'Reality' is what you believe you can accomplish.

Incidentally, the gentleman's name whom I referred to here today is Gerald Strachan, and the company he ascended to the top of was Family Guardian Insurance Company. I interviewed Gerry for my Success Files Series which is available by logging onto my website at www.dpaulreilly.com and subscribing to The Winners Club or The Gold Club.

Yes My Friend, your 'Reality' depends on whether you're a positive or negative thinker. Negative people's 'Reality' will in all probability be a rather small goal; whereas positive people who believe in themselves, will believe that everything is indeed possible, thus they will achieve great things in life.  Yes indeed, as today's title simply and succinctly proclaims it 'You Create Your Reality'.....yes you do! So in effect, the sky really is the limit....yes it is!
