Not only are the 'golden girls' appreciative of the honour the Bahamas Association of Athletic Associations (BAAA) is bestowing on them, but the local athletes who are receiving awards are just as delighted with the gesture.
At a recent press conference to announce the staging of the year-ending awards luncheon 2pm Sunday at the Sheraton resort, Cable Beach, thrower Julianna Duncanson expressed her gratitude on behalf of her peers.
