23 Bahamian Building Inspectors Attend BTVI Refresher Course

Twenty-three participants imparted career experiences in the construction field, Tuesday, at the beginning of a Ministry of Housing two-day training seminar to sharpen skills as building inspectors and safety officers. Classes were held in the ‘U’ Block at the Bahamas Technical & Vocational Institute (BTVI) on Old Trail Road.

The 2015 participants were Austin Davis, Carolyn King Williams, Dentrie Poitier, Derek Carey, Dwayne Knowles, Dwight Roberts, Gordon Major, H. Franklyn Ferguson, Jeffrey Clark, Lamourn Sawyer, Leonard Miller, Lester Thurston, Levi Wilmott, Margo McDonald, O’Neal Ambrose, Oral LaFleur, Orevias Johnson, Pedro Ferguson, Raphael Murray, Raymond Murphy, Samuel Robinson, Sarrizan Paul, and William Wells. Kendal Butler, Acting Chief Housing Officer, addressed his colleagues and Dr. Megan Johnson of CCA Bahamas Ltd., gave a presentation on safety.
