Contractors still waiting on Business Licence woe

The Bahamian Contractors Association's (BCA), which had hoped to receive word from government on concerns raised about the proposed hike in their business license fees, are still awaiting the Ingraham administration's "judgment" on the matter.

Larger contractors, in particular, had expressed anxiety about the Government's proposal to increase their business license fee, with some suggesting that not knowing to what extent they will be impacted was making it difficult to plan financially.
