Concern over malfunctioning radar at LPIA

At least six people were robbed three days before Christmas by gunmen who stole cash and other personal items.
Police informed the media yesterday of five robberies that took place on Wednesday between the hours of 11 a.m. and 10 p.m.
The most recent robbery took place around 9:45 p.m. at Freetown Lane, off Shirley Street. A gunman robbed a man as he arrived home.
Sergeant Chrislyn Skippings, police press liaison officer, said the gunman stole jewelry and a cell phone before fleeing the area on foot in an unknown direction.
About two hours before that robbery, a 30-year-old Lincoln Boulevard man was at Wulff Road when he was robbed and assaulted.
