Prime Minister the Right Hon. Perry G. Christie congratulated aspiring poets who participated in the 3rd Annual Centreville Urban Renewal Poetry Contest. The three finalists were invited to the Office of the Prime Minister to meet the Prime Minister and to participate in an awards ceremony, which was held on Monday, April 13, 2015. The children created poems based on the topic: “What my family means to me." They hailed from a cross-section of public and private schools.
