GENERAL SITUATION: A Stationary front near the Southeast Bahamas will exit the area today as a ridge of high pressure builds across the islands in the wake of the departing front.

Tuesday 31st – Partly and pleasant with the slight chance of spotty showers over the islands through Wednesday. Maximum Temperature 78°F and Minimum Temperature 67°F. Small Craft Caution in effect for the Southeast Bahamas Winds NE-E 10-15 knots in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and NE 15-20 knots in the Southeast Bahamas. Seas 2-4 feet over the ocean in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and 4-6 feet over the ocean in the Southeast Bahamas.

Wednesday 1st – Partly sunny and nice during the day, turning fair and mild at night. Maximum Temperature 79°F and Minimum Temperature 69°F. Winds variable at 10 knot or less in the Northwest Bahamas and NE-E 10-15 knots in the remainder of the islands. Seas 3 feet or less in the Northwest Bahamas and 2-4 feet in the Central; & Southeast Bahamas.

Thursday 2nd – Mostly sunny and pleasant in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and cloudy with scattered showers in the Central & Southeast Bahamas. Maximum Temperature 79°F and Minimum Temperature 68°F. Small Craft Caution in effect for the Southeast Bahamas, Winds NE-E 10-15 knots in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and NE 15-20 knots in the Southeast Bahamas. Seas 2-4 feet over the ocean in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and 4-6 feet over the ocean in the Southeast Bahamas.

Friday 3rd – Partly sunny with a chance of showers in the Northwest Bahamas and Cloudy with scattered showers in the Central & Southeast Bahamas. Maximum Temperature 80°F and Minimum Temperature 67°F. Small Craft Caution in effect for the Central & Southeast. Winds E-SE 10-15 knots in the Northwest Bahamas and NE-E 15-20 knots in the Central & Southeast Bahamas. Seas 2-4 feet over the ocean in the Northwest Bahamas and 4-6 feet in the central islands.

Saturday 4th – Mixture of clouds and sunshine with scattered showers. Maximum Temperature 79°F and Minimum Temperature 67°F. Small Craft Caution in effect for the Central & Southeast Bahamas Winds SE 10-15 knots in the Northwest Bahamas and E 15-20 knots in the Central & Southeast Bahamas. However winds and seas subsiding by evening hours. Seas 2-4 feet over the ocean in the Northwest Bahamas and 4-6 feet in the Central & Southeast Bahamas.

Sunday 5th –. Partly sunny with chance of few light showers. Maximum Temperature 80°F and Minimum Temperature 67°F. Small Craft Caution in effect for all areas by afternoon hours. Winds NE at 15 knots at first increasing NE 15-20 knots. Seas 3-5 feet over the ocean increasing 4-6 feet by afternoon hours.
