GENERAL SITUATION: A weak ridge of high pressure remains the dominant weather feature across The Bahamas while a weak mid-level trough remains near the northwest islands.

Thursday 26th – Partly sunny, hot and humid with few scattered showers or even possible isolated thunderstorms; fair and mild tonight in the Northwest Bahamas however, partly to mostly sunny, warm and humid with the slight chance of brief passing showers or chance of isolated thunderstorm; fair and mild tonight in the remainder of the islands. Maximum Temperature 88°F and Minimum Temperature 72°F. Winds variable at 10 knots or less. Seas 3 feet or less over the ocean.

Friday 27th – Partly sunny, warm and windy with the chance of scattered showers of possible thunderstorms; fair and mild tonight. Maximum Temperature 88°F and Minimum Temperature 72°F. Winds SE-S at 15 knots in the Northwest Bahamas and E-SE 10-15 knots in the Central & Southeast Bahamas. Seas 3-5 feet over the ocean in the Northwest Bahamas and 4-6 feet over the ocean in the Central & Southeast Bahamas.

Saturday 28th – Partly cloudy to cloudy, warm and windy with scattered showers and possible isolated thunderstorms mainly in the vicinity of the front, turning fair and mild at night. Maximum Temperature 86°F and Minimum Temperature 70°F. Winds SE-S at 15 knots ahead of the front and W-NW 15-20 knots behind the front in the northern islands and E-SE 10-15 knots but falling light and variable at times in the Central & Southeast Bahamas. Seas 3-5 feet ahead of the front and 4-7 feet behind the front in the Northwest Bahamas and 2-4 feet in the Central; & Southeast Bahamas.

Sunday 29th – Partly sunny in the Northwest Bahamas and cloudy with scattered showers and possible isolated thunderstorms in the Central & Southeast Bahamas with some clearing by late evening hours. Maximum Temperature 78°F and Minimum Temperature 63°F. Small Craft Caution in effect for the Northwest & Central Bahamas, Winds SSE-SSW 15-20 knots in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and E-SE 10-15 knots in the Southeast Bahamas. Seas 4-6 feet over the ocean in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and 2-4 feet over the ocean in the Central & Southeast Bahamas.

Monday 30th – Mixture of clouds and sunshine and windy at first subsiding later during the evening hours with chance of few light showers. Maximum Temperature 79°F and Minimum Temperature 66°F. Small Craft Caution in effect. Winds NE 15-20 at first falling NE 10-15 knots by nighttime. Seas 4-6 feet over the ocean at first falling 2-4 feet by nighttime.
