Scotiabank is proud to announce its sponsorship of the National High School Track & Field Championships scheduled for March 4th through 7th at the national stadium. The bank officially confirmed its partnership with the National Sports Authority of The Bahamas as a Co-Title Sponsor, along with BTC, of the 2015 Scotiabank BTC National High School Track & Field Championships.

The Championships is highly anticipated by students and the wider community, and is one of the favorites on the Scotiabank calendar each year. Contributing to this national track and field event is one of the ways that Scotiabank supports youth development through its Bright Future program. Bright Future, the bank’s global philanthropic program, brings together the passion of employees, the insight of the Bank’s partners and the spirit of communities.

Scotiabank’s Senior Manager, Marketing and Public Relations, Leah Davis, said, “Scotiabank will continue its tradition of awarding the Scotiabank Bright Future Athlete of the Year Award to the most outstanding male and female athletes of the event. New this year, Scotiabank will present the Scotiabank Bright Future Family Island Athlete of the Year Award to the most outstanding male and female athletes from among the Family Island schools.”

Davis continued, “As the proud Co-Title Partner of the 2015 Scotiabank BTC National High School Track & Field Championships, we welcome and encourage everyone to come out and support our young athletes.
