Bahamas U-18 Men 0-2 After Loss To USA

The United States dominated Bahamas 111-51 to start day two of the FIBA Americas U18 Championship played in Formosa, Argentina.


Olen Tyler Alexander gave Bahamas a two-point lead (2-0) but USA made a huge run to win the first quarter 29-5.

The United States continued to dominate on both ends of the court, taking advantage of the mistakes by Bahamas and winning the first half 59-11 where Maalik Wayns led with 10 points.

Bahamas recuperated in the second half but it was too late after a bad first half.

Six players from USA scored in double figures led by Travis Wear with 15 points, Mason Alexander 14, Jaymychal Alonso 13, Travis Releford 11 and Malcom Lee along with Maalik Wayns 10 points each.

Donathen Moss led Bahamas with 10 points and Olen Alexander 9.

On day three USA faces Puerto Rico and Bahamas plays against Venezuela.
