World Renowned Bahamian artist and prominent member of Grammy award winning Bahamian group BahaMen, Dyson Knight, has officially joined the Euphoria Madness Junkanoo Carnival Group as an honorary member. Knight, who is no stranger to both Bahamian and soca music traditionally heard during carnival will spearhead the music and performances by Bahamian artists at all events held by Euphoria Madness leading up to the Bahamas Junkanoo Carnival scheduled for May 2015.

“We are overjoyed to have Dyson Knight on board with us,” said one of the group leaders, Kenique Burrows, “as huge fans of Dyson and his work, we are happy that he has chosen to move forward with Euphoria Madness and bring the Bahamian music and art to the forefront of the Bahamas Junkanoo Carnival 2015.” Burrows’ husband, Sean, also a leader of Euphoria Madness quickly agreed. “Dyson brings with him a wealth of knowledge about Bahamian and soca music, and a unique presence to the stage that we always enjoy!” he stated. “We trust that this partnership will indicate the group’s commitment to Bahamian culture and Bahamian music at the Junkanoo Carnival”.

Knight’s first official performance with the group will take place on February 6th 2015 at the official costume launch party for the group to be held at the Fort Charlotte grounds at 8pm, in partnership with their sister group, Xtreme Fetish.
