The Team at Lukka Kairi is very excited to announce the Grand Opening and Charity Event of its new restaurant “Lukka Kairi Restaurant and Bar” – Fresh Bahamian Flavors.
Lukka Kairi restaurant is located oceanfront on Wood Rodgers Walk, between the Straw Market and Pompey Square. The restaurant has been designed in a unique Bahamian style, exposing Bahamian art and craftsmanship on its walls, floors and bar. A beautiful venue, delicious food, spectacular view and attentive friendly staff are waiting for you.
Lukka Kairi seats over 200 people its tri-level dining floor and bar. Each level is designed to provide an ocean view from any angle inside the restaurant. Lukka Kairi has an open kitchen concept that allows guests to meet the chefs and view the food preparation.
Lukka Kairi’s mission is to create an iconic Bahamian cultural experience through food, drinks, entertainment and décor and to share this with the world. Lukka Kairi will strive to get better every day and to surpass the guest’s expectations.
Lukka Kairi wants to be the first thought on people’s minds when it comes to Bahamian restaurants.
For the Grand Opening, Lukka Kairi will donate 100% of proceeds to TEEN CHALLENGE “The Proven Cure for the Drug Epidemic”.
This foundation supports young people with drugs, domestic violence, criminal history, and anger problems. Teen Challenge is a program designed to reach those who previously have not found help or have been denying their problem.
Teen Challenge fulfills three areas:
1. Inmates in rehab;
2. An orientation program for young people sent by the Courts and Schools (these meetings can be attended by up to 100 teens per session);
3. The Teen Challenge staff visit schools as a prevention program.
TEEN CHALLENGE has been making a great impact in our society – transforming young people into ambassadors of change.
The TEEN CHALLENGE facility has an immediate need for remodeling their dorms, lockers, bathrooms and kitchen.
