The 2015 NSCAA Convention is officially in the history books, and for many, it was the best of its kind to date.

The Convention has grown into the soccer event of the year, where the many U.S. soccer organizations come together to celebrate the game. More than 200 educational sessions took place, presented by the best and brightest clinicians from around the world. Coaches also took the time through the Awards Banquet and other gatherings to recognize those who have tirelessly worked to enhance and promote the game here and abroad.

Soccer's past, present, and future all participated in the event. Pele, Landon Donovan, DaMarcus Beasley and many more were all among those to attend or present. Adding to the list of clinicians were coaches and representatives from Manchester United, the German Football Association (DFB), Real Madrid, the Croatian Football Federation, the Mexican Soccer Federation, and the Trinidad & Tobago Women's World Cup Team to name a few.

U.S. Youth Soccer, AYSO, the Philadelphia Union, and U.S. Soccer all also had information to give through lecture and field sessions throughout the week.

Major League Soccer and the National Women’s Soccer League again held their drafts in conjunction with the Convention, and FIFA’s “Live Your Goals” tour made a stop in Philadelphia to discuss the upcoming Women’s World Cup, the promotion of women’s soccer, and display the trophy that will be awarded this summer.

The NSCAA Convention brought about a visit by Sir Alex Ferguson to the All-America Luncheon, a packed-to-capacity session by FC Barcelona, a highly-praised presentation by Donna Fishter, and more.
