Bahamas Launches 19CCEM as Host of Conference of Commonwealth Education Ministers

As hosts of the 19CCEM, The Bahamas is responsible for establishing the website which was developed by the Media and Communications Sub-Committee in conjunction with the Department of Information Technology. The website features, among others, a Registration and Accreditation page, Visa Requirements page, a Venue page, a Media Centre, and a listing of participating Commonwealth countries.

The conference will be held at the Atlantis Resort, Paradise Island June 22-26, 2015. It is expected to facilitate the exchange of best practices in education, promote goodwill and foster mutual respect and cooperation between stakeholder groups, inclusive of senior governmental officials, teachers, youth and NGOs. Education ministers from 53 countries of the Commonwealth are expected to attend.
