Minister of Education, Science and Technology the Hon. Jerome Fitzgerald, pictured second left, addressed RBC executives from Canada who made a cruise stopover visit on Thursday, January 15: The Minister thanked the community initiative of RBC in Canada that resulted in the recent donation of $30,000 books to the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology through Project Read Bahamas.

At Thursday’s event, in the Gardens of the British Colonial Hilton, the visiting RBC executives made a $1,000 donation on behalf of RBC to Read Bahamas in recognition of the work of Read Bahamas in providing children’s books to schools throughout the country.
