Craig Flowers lottery trial adjourned

THE prosecution is expected to close its case against FML CEO Craig Flowers and several of his employees when his trial resumes next month.
Mr Flowers was back in court yesterday although his trial was unable to proceed because presiding magistrate Derrence Rolle-Davis was on circuit.
Mr Flowers was charged last year with promoting a lottery and permitting his web shop to be used for the purpose of conducting a lottery after police raided FML's head office on Wulff Road.
Police confiscated nearly $1 million in cash from his establishment. Mr Flowers has pleaded not guilty to the allegations.
