GENERAL SITUATION: A warm front continues to lift northeastwards of The Bahamas today ahead of a cold front as drier air mass moves across The Bahamas.

Monday 24th – Partly sunny, warm and breezy with few isolated showers possible today, becoming mostly fair and breezy with the slight chance of showers in the Northwest & Central Bahamas. Partly sunny, warm and windy with a few isolated today in the Southeast Bahamas becoming mostly fair and breezy with a slight chance of showers tonight. Maximum Temperature 86°F and Minimum Temperature 73°F. Small Craft Caution in effect for the Northwest & Central Bahamas & Small Craft Advisory remains in effect for the Southeast Bahamas. Winds SE-S 15-20 knots in the Northwest & Central Bahamas, and E-SE 20-25 knots in the Southeast Bahamas. Seas 4-6 feet in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and 7-10 feet in the southern islands.

Tuesday 25th – Partly sunny and breezy with few isolated showers and thunderstorms possible across the Northwest & Central Bahamas. Partly sunny and breezy with the slight chance of a shower or two over the Southeast Bahamas. Maximum Temperature 87°F and Minimum Temperature 73°F. Small Craft Caution in effect for the Northwest & Central Bahamas and Small Craft Advisory is in effect for the Southeast Bahamas. Winds SE-S 15-20 knots in the Northwest & Central Bahamas, and E-SE 20-25 knots in the Southeast Bahamas. Seas 4-6 feet in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and 7-10 feet in the Southeast Bahamas, but higher in moderate to large east-southeast swells over the ocean.

Wednesday 26th – Partly cloudy to cloudy with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms across the Northwest & Central Bahamas; partly sunny and breezy with a slight chance of a shower or two over the Southeast Bahamas. Small Craft Caution in effect Winds SE-S 15-20 knots early becoming SE-S 10-15 knots ahead of the front shifting N 15-20 knots behind the front in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and E-SE 20-25 knots in the Southeast Bahamas over the open waters. Maximum Temperature 82°F and Minimum Temperature 72°F. Seas 4-6 feet over the ocean early subsiding to 2-4 feet behind the front in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and 7-10 feet in the Southeast Bahamas, but higher in moderate to large E-SE swells.

Thursday 27th – Cloudy and with scattered showers and possible thunderstorms. Maximum Temperature 79°F and Minimum Temperature 67°F. Small Craft Caution comes into effect during the late afternoon. Winds NE 15-20 knots. Seas 4-6 feet over the ocean.

Friday 28th – Cloudy with the chance of showers with some clearing expected in the Northwest Bahamas. Maximum Temperature 82°F and Minimum Temperature 65°F. Small Craft Caution in effect. Winds N-NE 15-20 knots. Seas 4-6 feet over the ocean.

Saturday 29th – Partly sunny and a bit cool with isolated showers mainly in the southern islands. Maximum Temperature 82°F and Minimum Temperature 67°F. Small Craft Caution in effect. Winds NE 15-20 knots. Seas 4-6 feet over the ocean.
