GENERAL SITUATION: A stationary front continues to extend across the Central Bahamas producing unsettled weather across the Northwest & Central Bahamas. Meanwhile, a tight pressure gradient between the front and the high pressure system north of the area will maintain breezy to windy conditions across the island chain.

Special Warnings!: Hazardous boating conditions will continue due to strong winds and rough seas and swimming is not advised due to the high risk of rip currents.

Thursday 20th – Partly to mostly cloudy and windy with few scattered showers today through tonight in the Northwest & Central Bahamas. Partly sunny and breezy with the chance of passing showers today; fair but a bit breezy tonight in the Southeast Bahamas. Maximum Temperature 79°F and Minimum Temperature 72°F. Small Craft Advisory is in effect for the Northwest & Central Bahamas. Winds NE 15-25 knots in the Northwest & Central Bahamas, and E at 15 knots in the Southeast Bahamas. Seas 5-8 feet in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and 3-5 feet in the remaining islands.

Friday 21st – Partly cloudy to cloudy and windy with a few showers across the Northwest & Central Bahamas, and partly sunny and windy with isolated showers in the Southeast Bahamas. Windy conditions will persist through tonight. Maximum Temperature 80°F and Minimum Temperature 71°F. Small Craft Advisory is in effect for the Northwest & Central Bahamas and a Small Craft Caution in effect for the southerly islands. Winds NE-E 15-25 knots in the Northwest & Central Bahamas, and E at 15-20 knots in the Southeast Bahamas. Seas 5-8 feet in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and 4-6 feet in the remaining islands.

Saturday 22nd – Partly cloudy and windy with brief passing showers in the Northwest Bahamas and partly sunny and windy with isolated showers in the Central & Southeast Bahamas. Winds subsiding during the evening and nighttime. Maximum Temperature 80°F and Minimum Temperature 72°F. Small Craft Advisory in effect. Winds E-SE 15-25 knots with occasional gusts. Seas 5-8 feet over the ocean.

Sunday 23rd – Cloudy and windy with scattered showers; some clearing by late afternoon with some reduction in wind speed. Maximum Temperature 79°F and Minimum Temperature 67°F. Small Craft Advisory in effect and will be downgraded to a Small Craft Caution by late afternoon. Winds SE 20-25 knots in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and E 20-25 knots in the Southeast islands. Seas 6-8 feet over the ocean falling slightly by late afternoon.

Monday 24th– Partly sunny, warm and a bit humid with a chance of showers. Maximum Temperature 84°F and Minimum Temperature 73°F. Small Craft Caution in effect. Winds S-SW 15-20 knots in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and SE 15-20 knots in the Southeast islands. Seas 4-6 feet over the ocean.

Tuesday 25th – Mostly sunny and a bit warm with isolated showers. Maximum Temperature 83°F and Minimum Temperature 73°F. Small Craft Caution in effect. Winds S-SW 15-20 knots in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and SE 15-20 knots in the Southeast islands. Seas 4-6 feet over the ocean.

Wednesday 26th – Mostly sunny, warm and humid with an increase in cloudiness and showers during the evening hours particularly in the Extreme Northwest Bahamas. Elsewhere, mostly sunny. Maximum Temperature 86°F and Minimum Temperature 75°F. Small Craft Caution in effect. Winds SE-S 15-20 knots in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and E 15-20 knots in the remainder of the islands. Seas 4-6 feet over the ocean.
