The First Crop of Papaya from the Bahamas Agriculture and Marine Science Institute (BAMSI) in North Andros was presented to the Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. Perry Christie at the Office of the Prime Minister, November 12, by President of BAMSI Godfrey Eneas, second right.

At left is the Minister of Agriculture, Marine Resources and Local Government the Hon. V. Alfred Gray, and at right Minister of Education, Science and Technology the Hon. Jerome Fitzgerald.
