Autopsy of robbery suspect inconclusive

The death of robbery suspect Owen Rolle remains a mystery, as an autopsy has been unable to pinpoint what caused his death, The Nassau Guardian has learned.
Rolle, 35, of Monastery Park, collapsed and died at the Central Detective Unit during questioning by three officers about the November 26 armed hold-up of the Bahamas Telecommunications Company (BTC) office on Shirley Street.
Police claimed Rolle, a former Royal Bahamas Defence Force marine, complained of chest pains before he passed out. Police allegedly found a gun on Rolle when they arrested him in Blair Estates.
According to a well-placed source, the autopsy report was inconclusive. Officials are still waiting on lab test results.
