Scotiabank locations throughout The Bahamas will serve as a drop off center for food donations from Monday, October 27 to Friday, November 21. Scotiabank’s Managing Director, Mr. Sean Albert, spoke of the effort “This is an important annual partnership for the bank. It is our aim to collect at least 5,000 pounds of food based on previous years. We will donate one dollar for each pound of food collected, up to our goal. We anticipate that the generosity of our employees and customers will help to feed many families in our community, as in the past.”

Scotiabank has long supported the well-being of communities around the world. Contributing worldwide to community causes focused on health, education, social services arts and culture. In addition to Scotiabank’s corporate efforts, employees at all levels volunteer their time, skills and money, individually and through teamwork, to support community causes.
