WEEK EIGHT
(Byes: N.Y. Giants, San Francisco)
Thursday's game
San Diego Chargers at Denver Broncos, 8:25 p.m.
Now that he has one of the most prolific passing records in the league, some analysts expect Peyton Manning to suffer a letdown this week, but on the contrary, I think that he and the Broncos will continue to pour it on.... especially with a division rival on the schedule. It's hard already trying to defeat the Broncos at home in the Mile High City, so imagine trying to do it on a short week. The Broncos' passing attack is too deadly for me to go it against it right now. The Chargers will provide a formidable challenge, but it won't be enough to keep up with the high-scoring Broncos.
Broncos 34, Chargers 26

Sunday's games
Detroit Lions vs. Atlanta Falcons, at London, 9:30 a.m.
Londoners get another taste of NFL action this year as the Lions and Falcons travel across the pond. Hopefully, this time, they'll get a competitive game. The way the Lions are playing right now, it's hard to pick against them anywhere. These teams are headed in opposite directions - the Lions quite possibly to the playoffs, and the Falcons quite possibly to the bottom of the barrel. I've been very impressed with the Lions' defense this season. Led by their front seven, they're second in the league in rushing defense, and first overall in total defense. Also, they're second overall in scoring defense. The Falcons can put up the points, but their makeshift offensive line won't be able to keep the Lions' pass rushers off Matt Ryan long enough for him to get in any kind of rhythm.
Lions 26, Falcons 17

Seattle Seahawks at Carolina Panthers, 1 p.m.
The way the Seattle Seahawks are playing right now, it's certainly not inconceivable for them, the defending Super Bowl Champions, not making the playoffs. The nucleus of their team remains the same, but now with Percy Harvin being traded to the Jets, they're one playmaker short. Really and truly, the 'Hawks just have to go back to the ground-and-pound game. Marshawn Lynch has to figure more into this offense. Last week against the Rams, he averaged just 2.9 yards per carry. Cam Newton and the Panthers are quite capable of handing the Seahawks another setback, but I think that Seattle is aware of the sense of urgency that comes with this game. They'll get the job done on Sunday.
Seahawks 23, Panthers 20

Baltimore Ravens at Cincinnati Bengals, 1 p.m.
The Ravens are playing as well as any team in the league right now, but the Bengals have won three of the past four games in this rivalry. A.J. Green's status is up in the air for this game. With him, they'll be competitive, and without him, I don't think they stand a chance. Given the importance of this game, I think that Green plays. I just don't know if his health will allow him to contribute the way he might want to. Baltimore's too hot right now for me to go against them. Joe Flacco will spread the ball around on offense, and the Ravens will avenge a loss earlier this season when they knock off the Bengals in Cincy.
Ravens 24, Bengals 23

Miami Dolphins at Jacksonville Jaguars, 1 p.m.
The Dolphins are gradually hitting their stride, while the Jags are finally in the win column. This Florida battle should be dominated by the Fins. Miami is playing well on both sides of the ball. With their dominating effort against the Bears last week, they jumped to number four statistically in overall defense, and number four in rushing yards per game. Ryan Tannehill and the offense is certainly coming along, but I'm particularly optimistic about the defense. Cameron Wake and Olivier Vernon are quick coming off the ends, the linebacker core is formidable (even without Dannell Ellerbe), Reshad Jones has solidified the secondary, and Derrick Shelby is proving that he is certainly worthy or more playing time. Miami is fourth against the pass and 10th against the run. The Jags won't be able to get anything going on Sunday.
Dolphins 27, Jaguars 13

St. Louis Rams at Kansas City Chiefs, 1 p.m.
The Chiefs are just 3-3, but they are coming. I like they way they play football - a strong running game and a good defense. That has proven to be the recipe for success in the past. For the most part, the Chiefs controlled both lines of scrimmage against the Chargers last week. The Rams is a pesky lil team, as the Seahawks found out last week, but they're not as good as the Chiefs. I think the Kansas City pass rush will get to Austin Davis quite often and force the Rams' second-year quarterback into a few mistakes. Offensively, they'll control the pace of the game, thereby limiting the speed and effectiveness of the Rams.
Chiefs 26, Rams 23

Chicago Bears at New England Patriots, 1 p.m.
I have a huge feeling that Tom Brady and the Pats will get caught looking ahead to their showdown with the Broncos in Week Nine of the NFL season... not to mention that the Bears certainly need this win. In the end, Brady and the Pats will pull it out though. The Bears don't have anyone to match up with Rob Gronkowski. On top of that, Bill Belichick and his coaching staff had 10 days to prepare for this game. On offense they'll be legit, and on defense I think they'll take a page out of the Dolphins' book and get physical with the Bears' big receivers. Brady and the Pats should win this one on Sunday in Foxboro.
Patriots 27, Bears 24

Buffalo Bills at N.Y. Jets, 1 p.m.
It looks like Geno Smith and the Jets finally have a winnable game on the schedule. They showed a lot of fight in that loss to the Patriots last Thursday night. Offensively, Smith is playing much better, and Chris Ivory and Chris Johnson are producing on the ground. On top of that, the Jets' defense is legit. They have one of the better defensive lines in all of football. With the Bills' Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller both out with injuries, I can't see them mustering enough offense to win this game. Geno and the Jets will finally end their six-game losing streak.
Jets 20, Bills 13

Minnesota Vikings at Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 1 p.m.
Both of these teams could be starting young quarterbacks on Sunday. Vikings' rookie signal caller Teddy Bridgewater has been impressive thus far and will undoubtedly get the nod again, and Bucs' second-year man Mike Glennon has played well in spurts and will most likely be the starter on Sunday. I don't expect much defense to be played in this game though. I think both young quarterbacks will air it out. Glennon has more weapons so I think he'll experience more success. I think he'll utilize big receivers Vincent Jackson and Mike Evans, and ride the home field momentum to a big win.
Buccaneers 34, Vikings 27

Houston Texans at Tennessee Titans, 1 p.m.
This one really is a toss up. The only thing intriguing about this game on Sunday, is that it is a division contest and it is for second place in the division behind the Colts. I have to go with star appeal in this one, and the biggest star in this game will be Texans' defensive end J.J. Watt. As mentioned before, he could change the whole pace of a game by himself. I think Watt will be a huge factor in this one. The Texans have lost four straight games in this match-up, but I think that behind a dominating performance from Watt, they'll end that streak on Sunday.
Texans 26, Titans 20

Philadelphia Eagles at Arizona Cardinals, 4:05 p.m.
The winner of this game might just have the inside track to the number one overall seed in the National Football Conference (NFC), depending on how relevant the Cowboys will be for the remainder of the season. Be that as it may, this one will be a battle between two capable offenses, two subpar defenses and two young coaches who will be aiming to out-smart each other. The Cards play as well as any team in the league on their home field, but I think that Chip Kelly and the Eagles will be ready for the challenge from Bruce Arians and the Cards. In games like this, I normally favor the team coming off the bye, and in this case, that's the Eagles. Kelly will have his team ready to play. They'll turn back the Cards on Sunday.
Eagles 30, Cardinals 28

Oakland Raiders at Cleveland Browns, 4:25 p.m.
The second winless team in as many weeks take their shot at the Browns, but this time, the Browns are playing at home, and I think they'll be ready for the challenge. They won't be caught sleeping again. The Raiders is now the last winless team in the NFL, and I think they'll remain winless this week. They're coming around and will get a win at some point this season, but the Browns want to make amends for that tough loss last week. I just can't see them falling to two winless teams in back-to-back weeks. Brian Hoyer and the Browns will rebound and get a big win in the "Dog Pound".
Browns 27, Raiders 16

Indianapolis Colts at Pittsburgh Steelers, 4:25 p.m.
After starting the season 0-2, the Colts have reeled off five wins in a row, and some consider them to be the best team in the league. I wouldn't go that far, but they're certainly much better than the Steelers. The Colts have been nothing short of impressive on both sides of the ball. That was evident in that 27-0 whitewash of the Bengals last week. The Steelers will be at home, but I think they'll be hard pressed to contain Andrew Luck and the Colts this week. Luck is currently leading the league in passing, more than 200 yards ahead of his nearest rival. I think Luck will have another 300-yard passing performance, and the Colts will march into Heinz Field in Pittsburgh and leave with another impressive win.
Colts 33, Steelers 20

Green Bay Packers at New Orleans Saints, 8:30 p.m.
Drew Brees and the Saints are in trouble. The only thing keeping them afloat right now, is that they play in a subpar division where the top team is right at .500 football. Brees struggled without his main man Jimmy Graham, and their defense has taken two steps back from a year ago. Meanwhile, Aaron Rodgers and the Packers are rolling right along. They have won four straight and are tied with the Lions for the top spot in their division. Packers' receiver Jordy Nelson is second in the league in receiving yards, tied for fourth in touchdowns and tied for fifth in receptions. He's the unsung hero of that Packers team. I think Rodgers will have another field day throwing the ball to him, and the Packers will get a big win in the Superdome on Sunday night.
Packers 34, Saints 30

Monday's game
Washington Redskins at Dallas Cowboys, 8:30 p.m.
Don't look now, but the Cowboys are 6-1 and are primed to make a serious push for the playoffs. From the look of things, they have no intention of slowing down, particularly on offense. DeMarco Murray and Dez Bryant are the real deal - both easily in the top five in the league in their respective positions. With the Redskins most likely starting the conservative Colt McCoy on Monday night, I don't think they'll have enough firepower to keep up with the Cowboys. Murray is on his way to 2,000 yards for the season and the Cowboys are on their way to the playoffs. It will be interesting to see if they both come to fruition.
Cowboys 30, Redskins 23

WEEK EIGHT
(Byes: N.Y. Giants, San Francisco)
Week Eight is upon us in the NFL, and from here on out every game has an influence on the playoff picture, so buckle up, here we go. Oh and yes I'm keeping it short and sweet this week, I can't mess with the mojo.

Thursday's game
San Diego Chargers at Denver Broncos, 8:25 p.m.
Short week, heated division rivalry here. This one could go either way with two of the hottest hands in the league going at it in Peyton Manning and Philip Rivers. Peyton adds to the record as the Broncos win at home in a close one.
Broncos 34, Chargers 31

Sunday's games
Detroit Lions vs. Atlanta Falcons, at London, 9:30 a.m.
Despite being a totally different team at home, the offensive line of the Falcons is porous and their defense is snake bitten. For that reason alone, I like the tough defense of the Lions, especially the front seven, to have a huge impact and affect the outcome of this one. The Lions travel well, so I like them to win this one.
Lions 27, Falcons 20

Seattle Seahawks at Carolina Panthers, 1 p.m.
Last year's Super Bowl Champions, the Seahawks, have been disappointing as have the Panthers. Sadly, the once daunting Panthers' defense seems to be shot like a punch drunk ex-boxer. Seattle's defense is not better, having its share of problems to deal with. Recently, the Panthers haven't been able to stop anyone so I like the Champs on the road, as they right the ship and get back to winning.
Seahawks 24, Panthers 17

Baltimore Ravens at Cincinnati Bengals, 1 p.m.
This one will be up in the air with A.J. Green's status being a game-time decision. Even if he plays I still have to lean toward the better team right now, the Ravens. Also, a Week One loss to the Bengals is all the revenge factor the Ravens need in this divisional match-up. The Ravens will be walking tall on the road in this one.
Ravens 24, Bengals 20

Miami Dolphins at Jacksonville Jaguars, 1 p.m.
Lighting won't strike twice! The battle of Florida belongs to the Miami Dolphins. Lamar Miller and Mike Wallace come up big for the Dolphins along with their defense. Yet another road dog prevails, the Dolphins with the 'W'!
Dolphins. 27, Jaguars 16

St. Louis Rams at Kansas City Chiefs, 1 p.m.
The battle of Missouri goes to the Chiefs at home.
Chiefs 27, Rams 17

Chicago Bears at New England Patriots, 1 p.m.
Until the Bears play to their potential we will never know which Bears team will show up. To this end, the Patriots at home is the safest choice.
Patriots 27, Bears 24

Buffalo Bills at N.Y. Jets, 1 p.m.
The maturation process of the young Bills continues in this one. Despite having a depleted secondary the Jets are tough up front and against the run. After last week's double whammy, the Bills' running game is non-existent without Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller. The Jets, on the other hand, have nothing to lose. They always play hard and they have a new weapon in Percy Harvin to show off. The Bills is the better team, but they're young and will fall into trap games like this one from time to time. Geno Smith doesn't make the crucial mistake and the Jets will win a tough one at home, halting the young Bills momentum a bit.
Jets 24, Bills 23

Minnesota Vikings at Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 1 p.m.
Yawner.... Bucs at home coming off the bye, I think. Coin flip in this one.
Buccaneers 24, Vikings 20

Houston Texans at Tennessee Titans, 1 p.m.
What can I say, I like lots of road dogs this week. J.J. Watt and Arian Foster lead the charge for a much needed division road win for the Texans.
Texans 24, Titans 17

Philadelphia Eagles at Arizona Cardinals, 4:05 p.m.
Both teams boast 5-1 win/loss records coming in. Despite the high-powered Chip Kelly offense, the Cardinals behind excellent coaching from Bruce Arians and a big days from Andre Ellington and Michael Floyd, along with the defense, get a big home win against a very worthy opponent in the Eagles.
Cardinals 26, Eagles 20

Oakland Raiders at Cleveland Browns, 4:25 p.m.
Ugly match-up here. Why say anything else? The Browns will win at home.
Browns 24, Raiders 23

Indianapolis Colts at Pittsburgh Steelers, 4:25 p.m.
I told you I like a lot of road dogs this week and this match-up is another fine example. The Colts' offense is clicking on all cylinders and the defense isn't too bad. I think the Steelers are a little too long in the tooth to win this one. They won't be able to keep up with the torrid pace of the Colts.
Colts 27, Steelers 20

Green Bay Packers at New Orleans Saints, 8:30 p.m.
Oh when the Packers go marching in Sunday night, it's going to get ugly quickly for the hometown Saints. The Saints horrendous secondary is going to get shredded by Aaron Rodgers and the Packer wide receivers Jordy Nelson and Randall Cobb. There will be more bad gumbo in the bayou for the Saints this week. Yes, another road team picked by me. The Packers will get the win.
Packers 34, Saints 30

Monday's game
Washington Redskins at Dallas Cowboys, 8:30 p.m.
Monday Night Football fireworks go off in this old division rivalry, and when the smoke clears in "Jerry World", my Cowboys will move to 7-1 and continue on as the best team in football. Even if RG3 starts in this one, my Cowboys will get a big home win over the Redskins. DeMarco Murray will run and top 1,000 yards by the end of this one. Dez Bryant will catch, run, score and throw up the "X" at will. Tony Romo continues to play good solid mistake-free football, very similar to the defense of the Cowboys. How bout them Cowboys!

WEEK EIGHT
(Byes: N.Y. Giants, San Francisco)

Thursday's game
San Diego Chargers at Denver Broncos, 8:25 p.m.
This could be the first Thursday night match-up that will actually be one of the best games of the week because the top two teams in the AFC West will be playing for sole position of first place of the division. The short turnaround for both teams will work in Denver's favor since they're the home team and I'm sure the Broncos haven't forgotten how San Diego stole a game last season in the Mile High City. As stellar as Philip Rivers has been, this will be the first team he faces that has an offense full of dangerous weapons and is capable of scoring in a multitude of ways. Time of possession will be hard to control for the Chargers compared to last season's game, and I believe Peyton Manning will get the best of Rivers and San Diego with a strong performance following his historic Sunday. This could very well be a playoff match-up down the road, but I like Denver in this spot.
Broncos 27, Chargers 19

Sunday's games
Detroit Lions vs. Atlanta Falcons, at London, 9:30 a.m.
I wouldn't be surprised if my Falcons fire head coach Mike Smith and leave him in London this week because it seems like his days are numbered with the team. They face another tall task against Detroit's top-ranked defense led by their fearsome defensive line, and I don't see the results looking favorable. I see Atlanta making some noise in this game, but ultimately the Lions' defense will wear down the Falcons' depleted offensive line and make Matt Ryan uncomfortable all day. I'd love to believe Atlanta can win this game, but I have to call a spade a spade.
Lions 24, Falcons 14

Seattle Seahawks at Carolina Panthers, 1 p.m.
Fortunately for Seattle, the Carolina team they will face on Sunday doesn't boast the best defense in the NFL like last year, as they are ranked 27th. Fortunately for the Panthers, the NFC South is so bad this year that eight wins can win the division. After losing two games in a row, I believe the Seahawks will lick their wounds and rebound from two tough losses and take advantage of a Panthers team that has clearly regressed. Championship resolve will kick in.
Seahawks 31, Panthers 16

Baltimore Ravens at Cincinnati Bengals, 1 p.m.
Baltimore has proven to be the best team in the AFC North at this point of the season while the Bengals seem to be coming apart at the seams. With A.J. Green likely out, the defense battling injuries and the offense failing to generate points, the obvious choice here is the Ravens. I don't see Baltimore dropping another key division game to Cincinnati. I believe another balanced attack will lead the way for them. Steve Smith Sr. is having one of his best years as a pro and I expect him to have a huge impact in this Ravens victory.
Ravens 23, Bengals 14

Miami Dolphins at Jacksonville Jaguars, 1 p.m.
For the sake of Miami fans all over the world (and for my win/loss record) I hope the Dolphins don't have a letdown and drop a very winnable game against one of the worst teams in football. Joe Philbin's game plan against Chicago was flawless and if he can continue to play to Ryan Tannehill's strengths then they can win a lot more games this season. While I'm praising Miami, Cameron Wake is a top three pass rusher in the NFL and doesn't get enough credit for what he does in the trenches. As for this game, the Fins will get it done.
Dolphins 22, Jaguars 10

St. Louis Rams at Kansas City Chiefs, 1 p.m.
It seems like the Chiefs have settled into this season and are playing up to their potential. If they want to keep making noise in the American Football Conference (AFC), they will have to beat a gritty Rams team that always competes on Sundays. Andy Reid's formula of running the ball and setting up the play action is working, and I believe that same recipe will be successful on Sunday.
Chiefs 28, Rams 17

Chicago Bears at New England Patriots, 1 p.m.
The Pats are getting stronger by the week and I don't think the momentum will be halted by a Chicago team that has been highly inconsistent this month. Add to the fact that the Bears' defense is borderline terrible at times leads me to believe that they would prefer to be in a shootout than play a grind-it-out type game. I believe New England will set the tone with the latter and eventually wear down Chicago at home.
Patriots 24, Bears 16

Buffalo Bills at N.Y. Jets, 1 p.m.
If there's one area the Jets can say they're one of the best in the league at, it's in the speed department, which has been solidified even more by the acquisition of Percy Harvin from the Seahawks. I certainly don't believe that Harvin will save New York's season, but he will provide a much needed boost on Sunday which can propel them against inner state rival Buffalo. The Jets are due for a breakthrough and I believe they will get their second win of the season on Sunday.
Jets 20, Bills 16

Minnesota Vikings at Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 1 p.m.
As outlandish as it sounds, the Bucs aren't dead in the water in the NFC South because of how bad that division has been this year. While I believe they won't rally to win the division, they will show some massive improvement coming off a bye week and establish some sort of identity for the remainder of the season. The Vikings are very beatable, and I'm riding with Tampa Bay to handle business at home.
Buccaneers 24, Vikings 14

Houston Texans at Tennessee Titans, 1 p.m.
Houston certainly understands the importance of division games and they have proven over the course of the season that they can compete on the road. They're due for a road win after a couple of tough losses in the away jerseys, and I see it happening in Nashville, Tennessee.
Texans 30, Titans 16

Philadelphia Eagles at Arizona Cardinals, 4:05 p.m.
Philly will face another test against a tough NFC West opponent and as much as I would like to believe the Eagles can steal a victory in Glendale, Arizona, it's hard to ignore what the Cardinals have done to earn their 5-1 record. They boast the league's best run defense and Carson Palmer is looking like a pro bowl quarterback once again. Nick Foles and the Eagles should be sharp after the bye week, but I don't think LeSean McCoy or Darren Sproles will have a huge impact on this game, resulting in the passing game not being as effective. I believe Foles will have a crucial turnover down the stretch and it will prove costly in a very tight game where I see a field goal being the difference in this contest.
Cardinals 23, Eagles 21

Oakland Raiders at Cleveland Browns, 4:25 p.m.
If Brian Hoyer has another dismal performance like he did in Jacksonville, then the Raiders will have a chance to keep this game close. However, I doubt Hoyer and the Browns will drop another game to a winless team. Depending on how bad the Raiders are, there might be a Johnny Manziel sighting. Give us "Johnny Football" Oakland!
Browns 31, Raiders 10

Indianapolis Colts at Pittsburgh Steelers, 4:25 p.m.
If I had a Most Valuable Player (MVP) vote, I would check the box next to Andrew Luck's name because of the way he has led this team to the league's best offense - especially in a year where the quarterback play is at its peak. I see him having another big week against Pittsburgh and Indy's third ranked defense setting the tone on the road. Once the Colts can prevent Le'Veon Bell from being the great playmaker that he is and keep Antonio Brown under control then they can comfortably win this game. It should be an entertaining game, but the Colts will come out on top.
Colts 27, Steelers 23

Green Bay Packers at New Orleans Saints, 8:30 p.m.
If the Saints could've won all of the close games they've lost this season, they would be among the best teams in the NFC right now. This is a must win game for them and running into Aaron Rodgers and the Packers who are playing their best football will be a tough task. I expect New Orleans to bring their A-game in primetime on Sunday night and Drew Brees will have a vintage performance that will silence all of his critics that are chirping from last week's blunder. This game will likely be a shootout and it will be up to the Saints' pass rush to make Rodgers as uncomfortable as possible. Jimmy Graham is due for a big game, and him along with New Orleans will have a sense of urgency and earn a victory.
Saints 34, Packers 28

Monday's game
Washington Redskins at Dallas Cowboys, 8:30 p.m.
The quarterback carousel in Washington has now stopped on Colt McCoy, who has been named the starting quarterback until the return of Robert Griffin III. He will have to play the game of his life to have a chance against a tough Dallas squad, and I can't fabricate a reason for McCoy to somehow win this game. The Cowboys will overwhelm the Redskins in every way possible on Monday night and should win comfortably. Who would've thought Dallas would be the class of the NFC midway through the season besides Naughty? Ride your high horse while it lasts, bro.

Thursday's game
San Diego Chargers at Denver Broncos, 8:25 p.m.
We all know the punchline with Flowers, "everybody wins". Well, the Chargers are without Brandon Flowers, their best defensive back. Without him, Peyton Manning will build on his record and throw four more touchdowns. No Flowers, no win for the Chargers.
Broncos 35, Chargers 23

Sunday's games
Detroit Lions vs. Atlanta Falcons, at London, 9:30 a.m.
The Falcons lost the last four games after having a promising start to the season. Now they are in trouble, and in order to salvage the season, they have to start racking up wins. I doubt they will make a playoff push, but they will win this game against the hot/cold Lions.
Falcons 27, Lions 17

Seattle Seahawks at Carolina Panthers, 1 p.m.
The Seahawks are in trouble. They are 3-3 and are now seen as a beatable football team. With Percy Harvin gone and a few banged up players on defense, I wonder how they will hold up during this tough time. Luckily for them, they are playing the Panthers, and even though the Panthers have put up over 30 points in two games this season, I don't think their offense is good enough to put up 20 on the Seahawks.
Seahawks 23, Panthers 18

Baltimore Ravens at Cincinnati Bengals, 1 p.m.
The Ravens are playing better football right now than the Bengals, but we all know how these divisional match-ups play out. Two teams that hate each other and want to demolish each other collide and play their hearts out, and we viewers end up seeing a great game. The Bengals won three out of the last four games against the Ravens, and if A.J. Green returns, they will win at home against their divisional rivals.
Bengals 24, Ravens 23

Miami Dolphins at Jacksonville Jaguars, 1 p.m.
The Jaguars got win number one on Sunday, and they should be really proud about that. With the way Ryan Tannehill is playing, the Jaguars celebration will be cut a bit short.
Dolphins 31, Jaguars 13

St. Louis Rams at Kansas City Chiefs, 1 p.m.
The Rams came up big with a huge win against the Seahawks on Sunday, but this Chiefs team at home is terrifying.
Chiefs 24, Rams 10

Chicago Bears at New England Patriots, 1 p.m.
The Bears can't get their defense together. If they can do that, they have a legitimate chance at winning against the Patriots, but the Patriots look too good on offense, especially over the last three games, to be stopped by a subpar defense.
Patriots 35, Bears 27

Buffalo Bills at N.Y. Jets, 1 p.m.
The Jets stink, but they showed signs of life against the Patriots last week. After five straight losses, can they pull it together against the Bills to get their second win of the season? I say they do. Percy Harvin will be the difference maker.
Jets 24, Bills 16

Minnesota Vikings at Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 1 p.m.
The Buccaneers have had some time to reflect on their beatings in the past that have embarrassed the city of Tampa Bay. The losses to the Ravens and Falcons are two examples of how the game can get away from the Buccaneers. They will have a young Vikings team coming into town, but I think they will use their talented wide receivers to pull this one out on Sunday.
Buccaneers 17, Vikings 13

Houston Texans at Tennessee Titans, 1 p.m.
I think I am going to try out for a quarterback spot for the Titans. Things are that bad for them at that position.
Texans 26, Titans 16

Philadelphia Eagles at Arizona Cardinals, 4:05 p.m.
The Eagles are solid and they have been surgical on offense. It won't be so easy against the Cardinals who are aggressive defensively. The Cardinals could put themselves in a comfortable position in the NFC West, and I think they will by winning this game in the clutch.
Cardinals 27, Eagles 24

Oakland Raiders at Cleveland Browns, 4:25 p.m.
The Browns are in the spirit of giving first wins to winless teams.
Raiders 17, Browns 13

Indianapolis Colts at Pittsburgh Steelers, 4:25 p.m.
The Steelers is not a quality football team, and going up against a quality football team will expose that.
Colts 31, Steelers 16

Green Bay Packers at New Orleans Saints, 8:30 p.m.
The Saints are so good at losing games. They lose leads easily, and their defense falls asleep in the clutch. Going up against the best quarterback in the league, their deficiencies will haunt and torment them.
Packers 34, Saints 24

Monday's game
Washington Redskins at Dallas Cowboys, 8:30 p.m.
The Redskins need Robert Griffin III back as soon as possible. Until then, they won't be able to win big games against big teams. The Cowboys will continue to roll.
