GENERAL SITUATION: A frontal boundary near The Bahamas will slowly dissipate as it lifts north of the area.

SPECIAL WARNINGS!! Beach goers and mariners especially along the exposed Atlantic shoreline of The Bahamas should exercise caution for moderate to high surf and the strong possibility of rip currents generated by post-tropical cyclone Gonzalo.

Monday 20th – Partly to mostly sunny and hot with the slight chance of a passing shower or two today increasing cloudiness tonight. In the Northwest Bahamas, and partly to mostly sunny and in the Central & Southeast Bahamas, hot with a few showers near Inagua. Maximum Temperature 89°F and Minimum Temperature 70°F. Small Craft Advisory in effect for the Atlantic exposed areas. Winds E-SE at 10 knots or less over the open waters in the Northwest Bahamas and NE-E 10-15 knots in the Central & Southeast Bahamas. Seas 3 feet or less, but up to 11 feet in NE swells.

Tuesday 21st – Partly cloudy to cloudy with widely scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. Maximum Temperature 88°F and Minimum Temperature 69°F. Winds SE 5-10 knots in the Northwest Bahamas and E-SE 10-15 knots in the Central & Southeast Bahamas. Seas 1-3 feet in the Northwest Bahamas and 2-4 feet in the remainder of the country, but up to 14 feet in NE swells.

Wednesday 22nd
– Partly cloudy to cloudy with widely scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. Maximum Temperature 88°F and Minimum Temperature 69°F. Winds variable 10 knots or less in the Northwest Bahamas, E-SE 10 knots or less in the Central Bahamas, and E-SE 10-15 knots in the Southeast Bahamas. Seas 3 feet or less in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and 2-4 feet in the remainder of the country, but up to 14 feet in NE swells.

Thursday 23rd – Partly cloudy to cloudy with widely scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms mostly during the afternoon. Maximum Temperature 88°F and Minimum Temperature 69°F. Winds variable 10 knots or less occasionally from the SE at 10 knots. Seas 3 feet or less over the ocean, but up to 14 feet in NE swells.

Friday 24th – Widely scattered showers and thunderstorms severe at times expected throughout the day. Maximum Temperature 86°F and Minimum Temperature 69°F. Winds N at 10 knots in the Northwest Bahamas and SE at 10 knots elsewhere. Seas 3 feet or less over the ocean higher in NE swells.

Saturday 25th – Partly sunny with scattered showers and thunderstorms; some improvement by nighttime. Maximum Temperature 86°F and Minimum Temperature 69°F. Winds N-NE at 10-15 knots in the Northwest Bahamas and SW 10-15 knots elsewhere. Seas 2-4 feet over the ocean with the possible sea swells.

Sunday 26th –. Partly sunny with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms. Maximum Temperature 86°F and Minimum Temperature 69°F. Winds N-NE at 10-15 knots in the Northwest Bahamas and SW 10-15 knots elsewhere. Seas 2-4 feet over the ocean with the possible sea swells.
