Enjoy life

Let me commence here today by asking you a very simple question: Are you enjoying, really enjoying your life right now?
Well, my friend, what's your honest answer to that, I guess loaded question?
I do sincerely hope that your answer was in the affirmative.
However, if per chance upon reflection you realize that you're not enjoying your life right now, well then, you really do need to do something about it, and do it today -- now!
But D. Paul, you see the real problem for my unhappiness right now is primarily due to the fact that I'm working at a job which I'm really not happy with. I don't like the work I'm engaged in. I'm just doing it for the money which I need to take care of my family.
Well, if this is in fact the case, you need to seriously start looking for another job where you will indeed be much happier, for unless you really love what you do for a living, you will never really excel at it.
That's right, in an interview on '60 Minutes' on CBS television, Composer, Musician, Producer David Foster was asked what the secret to success is.
He simply replied, "Do what you love to do".
Oh, how absolutely correct he was.
So why not start to look around for another job which you will really enjoy doing, which will also pay you what you need to earn in order for you to be able to adequately take care of your family.
Believe me, you'll be glad you did and thus when next asked the question 'are you enjoying your life?', you'll be able to honestly answer that question with a loud, enthusiastic 'yes!'
I know someone who is in a marriage which is a most unhappy affair and thus he's not enjoying his life at all.
If this is the case with you, perhaps you need to start making plans to move on with your life.
That's right, there comes a time in all of our lives, when perhaps as difficult as it is, it may indeed be time to move on with our life in order to have a more enjoyable, happy and peaceful experience.
Now please, don't get me wrong as I quite definitely don't want you to feel that I'm prompting you to end your present relationship with your spouse or significant other.
However, as I stated before, there is a time to move on, but of course it's an individual decision which some people do need to make if they are to really enjoy life.
