Its time to show off your culinary talents Bahamas as Meeting of the Minds hosts their 2nd Annual Culinary Fusion Expo in Grand Bahama in November.

Participants from all over The Bahamas are being invited to sign up by September 19, 2014 to take part in this memorable event.

Culinary Fusion Expo is the brain child of creative genius Sean Johnson II, and features many of the culinary artists on the island.

He said this is the perfect opportunity for all exhibitors to give live demonstrations/presentations, network with their peers and industry buyers and suppliers, while at the same time showcasing their services and products to who could be their “next loyal customer”.

“This is a rare avenue/occasion for great exposure to a multi-demographic audience,” he continued, “as it is imperative that a vendors first impression is lasting and one that could bring continued business.”

Reflecting on how tourism has evolved in some parts of the world, Johnson noted that some places are known specifically for the niches, such as food, shopping, etc.

“So,” he says to participants, “why not embrace this already strong attribute of ours. Our guests from last year ranged from the business community, vacationers, honeymooners, locals, visitors from other islands and college students.

“The event was attended by over 400 guests and received rave reviews that told of the displays from a variety that people did not existed on this island, or that we had to offer .. to great set up and social atmosphere.”

Johnson said this event is great for participants as it brings them a lot of exposure, also giving business to business opportunities, partnerships and building clientel on the various islands.

Last year there were 20 vendors and the focus was and is on quality over quantity.

“No matter that size of your business” he said, “we created a level playing field where, if you have something of quality, this event will help you reach your mark and to show everyone what makes you stand out from others, displaying creativity to hundreds for sampling from locally inspired dishes to multi cultured an even artistic inspired food.”

This year for the first time the event is open to businesses in Nassau who have already expressed interests with more welcomed to sign up.

“Our main goal is to create the most favourable conditions for your work at Pelican Bay and the prosperity of your business, so we found it imperative to make participation in exhibition cost-efficient and provide you with a few helpful tools” Johnson added.

He noted that space is limited so registrants are asked to sign up early.

Deadline for persons wanting to sign up is September 19th.
