The "Lend A Hand Bahamas" Project in the Grants Town/Bain's Town area is underway.

Mr. Lucas Metropulos, who is a part of this wonderful project in the inner-city said: "we are 'conducting fundraising exercises' to construct a much needed community centre for around 300 children and their families in the area.

We have finalized the architectural plans, and are attempting to fundraise another $50,000 before we begin to build.

The centre will utilize renewable energy, be hurricane resistant, and offer countless entrepreneurial and educational programs and opportunities."
