NASSAU, Bahamas -- The Member of Parliament for Southern Shores, Hon. Kenred Dorsett, held the annual Southern Shores Back 2 School Extravaganza this past weekend on Percy Munnings Park in his constituency. The event was well attended by adults and children alike.
The children received school bags with an inspirations back to school message from Dorsett. The message said, "Dear Students.....A good education prepares you for the infinite possibilities that this world possesses. Take advantage of this opportunity to grasp as much knowledge as you can to make possibilities into realities. Your hard work and determination along with a good education will ultimately help you succeed as whatever it is you want to achieve. Remember, Hard Work x Determination + A Good Education = Success."
There was also face painting, lots of food, drink, music and fun for all.
