GENERAL SITUATION: Tropical storm Cristobal continues to affect the Central and Southeast Bahamas as it moves slowly northwards.

Monday 25th – Partly cloudy, hot and breezy with the chance of a few brief passing showers and isolated thunderstorms in the Northwest Bahamas and cloudy to overcast and windy with widespread rain and scattered thunderstorms in the remaining islands. Maximum Temperature 91°F and Minimum Temperature 79°F. Small Craft Advisory is in effect for the Southeast Bahamas and a Small Craft Caution is in effect for the Northwest & Central Bahamas. Winds N 15-20 knots in the Northwest Bahamas, W-NW 15-20 knots in the Central Bahamas, and W-SW 15-25 knots in the Southeast Bahamas. Seas 4-7 feet in the Northwest & Central Bahamas and 5-8 feet in the Southeast Bahamas.

Tuesday 26th – Partly sunny, breezy and hot with few isolated showers in the Northwest Bahamas, and variable cloudiness with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms in the Central and Southeastern islands. Maximum Temperature 91°F and Minimum Temperature 78°F. Winds NE at 15 knots in the Northwest Bahamas, variable at 10 knots in the Central Bahamas and, SW at 15 knots in the Southeast Bahamas. Seas 3-5 feet over the ocean in the Northwest & Southeast Bahamas and 3 feet or less elsewhere.

Wednesday 27th – Variable cloudiness with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms mainly in the northwest and central islands, partly sunny and hot in the Southeast Bahamas. Maximum Temperature 91°F and Minimum Temperature 77°F. Winds light and variable in the Northwest Bahamas, S at 10 knots in the Central Bahamas, and E-SE at 10 knots in the Southeast Bahamas. Seas 3 feet or less over the ocean.
