Tomacina Culmer, Miss Universe Grand Bahama, was named the winner of the Miss Bahamas Top Model Competition, and has won a contract and six-page spread with Profiles 98 Magazine in addition to international training in the United States and Jamaica.
Ominique Burrows, Miss Universe Long Island was first runner up during the competition that took place on July 25 at the British Colonial Hilton Hotel. Chantal O'Brien, Miss World Ocean Cay was the second runner up.
The Miss Bahamas double header pageant will take place on Sunday, August 3 at the Atlantis resort.
