The Dairy Queen® restaurant franchise in The Bahamas announced today that it will have its first Miracle Treat Day(MTD) in The Bahamas.

“Miracle Treat Day (MTD) will be an annual event” said Dairy Queen Franchisee, Mr. Derek Osbourne, “and it is something that Dairy Queens all around the world do”.

On this day $2.00 from every Blizzard® Treat sold in The Bahamas will be donated to sick children in The Bahamas. The objective of the initiative is to help as many children as possible.

To date the first child, Zion Knowles, has been identified to be a recipient.

Dairy Queen has extended an invitation to Corporate Bahamas to join in to make this initiative the best ever. More children will be identified as Dairy Queen encourages as many corporate entities as possible to come on board.

The DQ® system’s 2014 Miracle Treat Day is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 14th. For more information about Miracle Treat Day, visit our facebook page https://www.facebook.com/DairyQueenBS
