The Miss Bahamas World and Miss Bahamas Universe pageants are about to get rocked by Bahamian singer, Jayne Doh, who will perform her new single "Cover Girl" live at the double-header pageants.
Jayne, lead singer of The Bahamas' number one rock band, Avante Guarden, said she is excited to be performing the official crowning song at both pageants. "Cover Girl", a female empowerment anthem produced by Cyeon Fox, ties in perfectly with the 2014 pageants' theme of "Beauty Personified".
The Miss Bahamas pageant finales will take place on August 3 at Atlantis resort. Miss Bahamas World will take place at 3 p.m., and Miss Bahamas Universe will take place at 7 p.m.
The contestants will be officially unveiled at the John Watling's Distillery on July 20 at 6 p.m. Tickets are $35 and will include two drinks.
