In observance of World Oceans Day, the Water Features Department at Atlantis, Paradise Island sought to bring awareness to the importance of protecting our oceans with an initiative dubbed “Wear Blue, Tell Two.” Team members, donning shirts bearing the “Wear Blue, Tell Two” logo, readily shared two facts about the importance of the ocean and ways to protect it.

World Oceans Day is celebrated June 8th every year. Other initiatives spearheaded by the Department in observance included a clean up of the seabed at Paradise Beach and the distribution of blue ribbons at various locations around the property to both guests and employees alike.
