Nassau: The charter boat captains report that they have been very successful catching mahi offshore. There have been bonito, blackfin and yellowfin tuna offshore in the late afternoon under the birds. There have been a quite a few marlin released.

Abaco: The marlin bite has remained good and there have been a lot of mid-sized yellowfin tuna caught in the evenings down south off of Cherokee and Hole In The Wall. The bottom fishing has been good with lots of muttonfish and huge yellowtail snapper caught on the deep reefs and points.

Cat Island, Hawks Nest: The Hawks Nest tournament ended yesterday and was a great success. Over the 3 days of fishing there were 12 blue marlin, 5 white marlin and 4 sailfish released. The bite for other pelagic species has been excellent. There has been plenty of mahi. The yellowfin tuna bite has been strong at the change of tide and the wahoo bite has been good at Devils Point.

Grand Bahama, Freeport: The fishing has been good off of south Grand Bahama with some exceptionally large mahi caught. The tuna bit has been good in the late afternoon too.
