Commonwealth writers celebrate junior achievers

Family and friends of the junior writers of the Commonwealth Writers gathered at the Government House Ballroom on Monday, November 8 for the Fifth Annual Writing Awards Ceremony.
Supporters packed the ballroom for a ceremony in honor of young writers from around the country. Primary and High school students from New Providence to Crooked Island accepted awards and certificates for their accomplishments.
Certificates were also presented to primary schools for their participation.
Students were awarded in the categories of Youth Poetry, Youth Short Stories and Adult Short Stories.
