Sir Arthur Foulkes reads One Bahamas message in GB

FREEPORT, Grand Bahama - Students from schools across Grand Bahama converged at Independence Park on Friday morning where Governor General Sir Arthur Foulkes read the One Bahamas Day message, which was delivered on the island for the first time.
Students from various schools sang, danced and played instruments during the flag raising ceremony.
Sir Arthur said One Bahamas was celebrated in 1992 for the first time and it originated with a vision to promote unity, national pride and patriotism among Bahamians.
"This program seeks to bind us together, fostering unity amidst the wonderful diversity that is our Bahamas. In this we are a model for other countries, large and small," he said.
