Work in bad weather 'may have affected time to assess tornado threat' The Freeport Container Port's habit of allowing work to continue in relatively bad weather and fluctuating wind may have affected the time taken to assess the seriousness of the tornado that killed three of its workers on March 29, said an independent report into the incident.

"The fact that terminal work during relatively bad weather and fluctuating winds is a common occurrence may have affected the time taken to assess the seriousness of the situation," according to a portion of the report's findings.
