SPINAL DECOMPRESSION THERAPY
SPINAL DECOMPRESSION THERAPY
Covered by third party medical insurance? Yes with a Doctor’s referral
Physician’s referral required? Yes for insurance coverage
No if purchased as a stand alone service
Pricing for non-insured patients:

Spinal decompression is a non-invasive, non-surgical FDA-approved treatment option for certain types of chronic back and neck pain to provide long term pain relief. Mechanical decompression works by slowly and gently stretching the spine, taking pressure off compressed discs and vertebrae. The cycles of decompression and partial relaxation are computer-controlled and provide a distraction force to the targeted are of the spine.
If you or your family members have been struggling with debilitating back or neck pain with little or no relief, ask yourself…
•Am I currently dependent on medications on a daily basis?
•Am I limited in daily activities?
•Have I had repeated injections or epidurals with little or no relief?
•Am I considering surgery and am uncomfortable with that choice?
•Have all the options been presented to me?
•Have I already tried chiropractic or physiotherapy?
•Have I been out of work due to pain?
If “Yes” is the answer to any of these questions, then non-surgical spinal decompression therapy is a viable treatment option for you. Traditional corrective treatments for back and neck pain include surgery or manual therapy.
Your PRC physiotherapist may use spinal decompression therapy in conjunction with manual therapy techniques, exercise, relevant modalities and education to help you walk away from your back or neck pain or you may choose to purchase spinal decompression sessions as a stand alone service.
