(Bahamas) Ltd. (later known as Mundytours) was formed in the Bahamas in 1960 by E.H. Mundy & Co, a British shipping company with origins in the UK dating to 1848. R.H. Curry, a large Bahamian shipping and travel company doing business in the Bahamas since 1938 acquired Bahamas Tourist Company (later known as Playtours) in 1975, and consolidated the two travel companies in 1993
