BLUE AND BEYOND|A Photographic Exhibition

Join us at The Ladder Gallery at the New Providence Community Centre on Blake Road Thursday, February 11, 2016, from 6-8:30pm for "Blue And Beyond", Alessandro Sarno's first exhibition.
It was birthed from his coffee table book of the same name, "Blue and Beyond", a curated collection of moments he captured during his travels in the islands of The Bahamas.
"Blue And Beyond" aims to inspire locals to continue to appreciate the beauty of their own country and rouse visitors to this bountiful place to travel across the hundreds of islands and cays.
Alessandro's photographs try to take you beyond the sea and beachscapes, focusing instead on the scenes of everyday life. His work celebrates the freedom and simplicity of the islands.
He enjoys seeing how many Bahamians blend into the marvelous nature they are surrounded by, and he dreams of a deep sense of respect to be taught to children and beheld by adults.
Among others, Alessandro's favorite shots are "The Girl Who Dances With The Sea", captured on the western end of New Providence on the descending sun, which depicts how children after school enjoy the beach and actually feel a deep connection with the sea.
BEERO!! - Play For A Great Cause!

We are having fun and raising money for a fantastic cause, who wouldn't want to do that?! When was the last time you played a good ol? game of BINGO?! Well we have created our very own 'BEERO!'
We will be playing BEERO in our Tap Room on Thursday February 11th in honor of Operation Potcake & The Bahamas Humane Society! We will be doing 7-10 rounds of beero collecting $2.00 for each card, per each round. We will split the collections each round. Half going to the winner of the round and half going towards Operation Potcake & The Humane Society.
Also $1.00 dollar off every drink you purchase on this evening we will be donating to the cause. So the more you drink the more charitable you become, so feel free to have more than one!
We are trying to raise money for Operation Potacake?s next spay and neuter clinic. Each spay and neuter costs $40.00 to take place, and is helping to eliminate the breading of stray dogs on our streets. So please come on down and help us, help these beautiful animals!
