2012 Bahamas Law Enforcement Sports Challenge
2012 Bahamas Law Enforcement Sports Challenge

Saturday 21st January 2012

What: The 2012 Bahamas Law Enforcement Sports Challenge will feature more than 20 different competitive sports, including basketball, golf, cycling, judo, sailing, soccer, flag football, swimming and volleyball.

When: January 18, 2012 - January 23, 2012,

Where
Grand Bahama Island.

Why
The Bahamas Law Enforcement Sports Challenge is gathering together local and international law enforcement officers, their families, friends and communities:

to celebrate and appreciate those who are serving us now through competitive sports, with their family and friends,
to remember the families with members who have died in the line of service
to encourage and invest in the next generation who are willing to offer their lives in service to us all.

How: We have the full support of our local law enforcement agencies, and together, we are inviting their international fraternity from more than 26 countries. There is enthusiastic participation from the U.S. Embassy, High Commissioners in Canada and the United Kingdom and agencies throughout the Caribbean.

We are planning a Grand Affair...working together with sporting organizations Grand Lucaya Hotel, our Title Sponsor, and every other hotel member of the Grand Bahama Tourism Board(Pelican Bay at Lucaya, Wyndam Fortuna Beach, Island Seas, Royal Palm Resort and Suites, Castaways Resorts and Suites, Sunrise Resort and Marina)
Transportation - Bahamasair, American Airlines, Vision Air, Copa Airlines West Jet, Celebration Cruise Line,
as we prepare to host our law enforcement officers and their families; both local and international.

The 2021 Bahamas Law Enforcement Sports Challenge is being promoted very aggressively. The Ministry of Tourism and a representative from our committee attended the World Police and Fire Games recently held in New York. Two trips to the Games are being raffled to the more than 17,000 participants, sponsored by the Ministry.

All to ensure that the scene is set to cultivate relationships that transcend time and space.

We invite your organization to partner with us in support of these transformative Games.

I look forward to hearing from you with your marketing team to design a dynamic and mutually beneficial campaign. Attached is a Sponsorship Package.

We are also holding Bahamas Law Enforcement Games here in Nassau in February, June and September. These games will be one sport each(eg. Basketball, Softball..) and will also include participants from the USA, Canada, UK and The Caribbean in competition with our own officers.
