Meet The Minister Series-Michael Halkitis, State Minister for Finance

Join us for the first meeting of our ?Meet the Minister? series and hear the State Minister for Finance, the Honorable Michael Halkitis, speak on topics such as:

? The implications of the recent downgrading,

? Outlook for the Bahamian economy

? Tax Reform.

This luncheon meeting will take place at the British Colonial Hilton on February 13th, 2013 at 12:30PM. Come and hear the Minister as he addresses topics relevant to the business community and our overall economic outlook. There will also be a session for questions and answers.

This luncheon is the first in our series where we hope to provide the business community the opportunity to hear directly from the various Ministers on vexing business issues facing the business community. Very soon the Chamber will also be revisiting our vexing business issues survey conducted in 2008 to gather specific data as it relates to the matters currently hampering business development in the Bahamas.
